It started years ago when we managed to pick up bedbugs on vacation. My nerves were shot! But Hometown Pest Solutions came in and listened to me and came up with a plan. No shaming, no fear, just solutions!Years later when we were selling our home, we had another company come out to do a termite inspection. We were told we had termites and they would treat it for $800. We were fine to treat it but thought we would get a second opinion. HPS came out and crawled all under the house and said there was no evidence of termites. The buyer wanted a third opinion so we called Orkin and they came out and confirmed HPS findings. We have also used them for mosquitoes and spiders and have been very pleased with the service and how reasonable priced it is. We paid $40 a month to enjoy the backyard. Jason returned my first phone call within hours and offered to come to check out the moisture under the house the following day. Upon inspection, Jason found the moisture barrier deteriorating and a moisture level that was not conducive. This was after another company had been out twice to check the dehumidifier under the house and moisture levels, ensuring that the work they did three years ago for previous homeowners was okay. The reason for concern was due to hardwoods rising inside the home. Jason corrected the issue within days, came back over to the house to check on the levels after the new moisture barrier was put down, and came back again to check on the floors.He reached out to a flooring specialist on our behalf and recommended a dehumidifier inside the home to help eliminate moisture. The moisture level dropped from averaging around 75 to 80 percent to 50 percent and under within a few days. Jason called a few days after recommending an in-home humidifier to check in and see how the levels were going.Five stars do not do this company justice. If there were a ten-star option, I'd click it without hesitation. Top-notch knowledgeable service rooted with a customer-centered focus. A++ read less
