After 13 years of working as a manager in the manufacturing industry, Ernie began his career in the pest control industry as a service manager for a large pest control company. During his years there Ernie provided pest control services for both commercial and residential customers.
Through his experience as a manager, he learned the importance of human connection in the service industry. Ernie founded Hometown Pest Solutions on the belief that he could provide a more personalized pest control experience than a larger company could. He wanted his community to have a customer-oriented, safe, economical, and honest pest control experience.
Ernie has many years of training in pest control. He has training in both commercial and residential pest control, managerial training, and has attended sales school. Ernie maintains a North Carolina and Virginia Pest Control license, is AIB certified, and has a termite certification from Purdue University.
